MAHO receives Excellence in Service Provision Award!

The Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging presented its 2014 Independent Living Awards at its Annual Luncheon and Lecture on April 29. These awards honor local organizations, corporations, and individuals for their work in and commitment to supporting seniors and people with disabilities so that they may live independently.

MAHO was the organization recipient of the Excellence in Service Provision award.  The award was presented to Executive Director Steve Hanlser and Board President Scott Strawn by Cotman Vistas tenant, DeAnn O’Bannon. DeAnn spoke about MAHO’s dedication to accessible housing and the important role it has played in her life and the lives of her neighbors.
