Accessibility First Demonstration Unit
Located within our Cotman Vistas community, MaxHousing’s Accessibility First Demonstration Unit is a great resource for those wanting to learn more about how to make housing more accessible and prepare for easier aging in place. The unit is based on our apartments but contains many added features and ideas for simple ways to increase accessibility. Many of these are low cost and simple to add to a home.
Tours for Individuals and Small Groups
The Demonstration Unit is available by appointment for both formal and informal tours. Over a thousand people have visited in the past to get inspiration for their own homes or, in many cases, ways to make housing better for a parent or grandparent who is aging in place.
