Vistas Apartments

The Vistas Apartment Communities provide fully accessible housing for people with mobility disabilities. All units and common areas are designed for full accessibility, including wheelchair-accessible kitchens and bathrooms. All of the Vistas apartments have rent subsidies so tenants pay 30 percent of their income toward rent. Utilities, except for optional telephone and cable, are included in rent. These complexes have 24 to 40 one- and two-bedroom units.

Cleaning and maintenance of common areas are performed or coordinated by MaxHousing staff. The Vistas Communities are designed for independent living; MaxHousing does not provide any personal or medical services to tenants. The tenant, either alone or with assistance, is responsible for obtaining any needed services. Useful resources include the MaxHousing Service List, Cuyahoga County Street Card, and United Way’s 211 service in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.
